EnvelopesAn envelope is usually made of folded paper or thin cardboard and meant to package a flat item like a letter. Traditional envelopes are either shaped like a diamond, a short arm cross, or a kite. When these shapes are folded in such a way that the last flap to be closed is short side then it is a commercial pocket envelope. Flaps are secured with gum, paste, or wax seal. |
